Lake Bell and artist Rashid Johnson have publicly confirmed their relationship. Bell shared a selfie of the pair on Instagram on Halloween, captioning it, “Happy Hallow-hard launch.” The image was the first official confirmation of their romance.
The two also attended the 2026 CFDA Fashion Awards at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday, posing together on the red carpet with their arms around each other.
Their relationship follows Johnson and Sheree Hovsepian’s announcement five months ago that they were separating after 15 years of marriage. The former couple, who have a 14-year-old son, said in a joint statement that they would remain friends and were committed to co-parenting. They also asked for privacy as their family adjusted to the change.
Hovsepian has also been reported to be dating seriously. Despite their separation, she and Johnson are collaborating on an exhibition at Château La Coste in France, scheduled to run through January 17, 2027.
Bell was previously married to tattoo artist Scott Campbell. They share two children, finalized their split in 2020 and have continued to co-parent amicably.
