Former Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon says Hugh Hefner tried to pressure her and her twin sister, Kristina, into having sex with each other while they lived at his Los Angeles mansion. In an interview with Page Six, Karissa said the sisters never did so and instead pretended to comply.
“We faked it every time,” Karissa said, describing the experience as horrible. She said she and Kristina agreed to fake the intimacy, while Hefner believed it was real. According to Karissa, he told them that if they loved each other, they would do it together.
Karissa said Crystal Harris, who married Hefner in 2012 and remained his wife until his death in 2017, was often present and knew the sisters were pretending. Karissa also recalled a separate alleged incident: a forced threesome on her and Kristina’s 19th birthday. She has previously described sex with Hefner as feeling like assault and rape.
The twins lived at the mansion from ages 18 to 20. Karissa said she had not understood before moving in that women living there were having sex with Hefner and others. She also said her experiences made her wonder whether former Playboy models Sandy and Mandy Bentley had faced similar pressure.
Karissa said she later spent nearly a decade with Kristina working in pornography, which they had described as a means of survival. She now lives in Michigan and is pregnant with a boy due in April. She is also engaged, but has chosen not to reveal her fiancé’s identity.
Karissa said she wants to draw on her past as she raises her son, saying she hopes he will be considerate and lead with his heart.
