Dean Norris, known for his role in “Breaking Bad,” and his wife, Bridget Norris, are divorcing while also dealing with financial difficulties involving their restaurant, according to court documents reported by TMZ.
Bridget filed for divorce in Riverside County, California, in 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing lists their marriage date as October 27, 2001, and their separation date as January 15, 2025. The couple have five children, including two minors, Zoe, 17, and Dean, 16.
Bridget requested joint legal and physical custody of the children, spousal support, and a court determination of the couple’s rights to property acquired during the marriage. Dean appears to have filed a response months later, but the case had not been finalized, according to the report.
The couple are also involved in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings for Swing Inn Cafe, a restaurant in Temecula, California, which they purchased in 2022. Bankruptcy documents state that the business recorded a $1 million decline in gross revenue between 2024 and 2025. The company reported assets of about $100,000 to $500,000 and liabilities ranging from $1 million to $10 million.
Dean and Bridget also manage the Norris Performing Arts Center. The couple have generally kept their private lives out of the public eye.
