Dean Norris, best known for his role as Hank Schrader on AMC's Breaking Bad, is navigating a personal and financial crisis involving a secret divorce and significant debt. Court documents obtained by Page Six reveal that his wife, Bridget Norris, quietly filed for divorce on February 14, 2025. While Dean responded to the filing in May of that year, the divorce proceedings do not appear to be finalized yet.

The marital split coincides with severe financial struggles for the couple's business ventures. On September 25, they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy for their restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, located in Temecula, California. According to the documents, the company holds assets of $147,809.58 but faces liabilities totaling $1,811,598.46. This type of bankruptcy filing allows a business to restructure its debts with the aim of remaining operational.

Swing Inn Cafe is an old-school diner and barbecue joint that has been open since 1927, though Norris and his wife purchased it in 2002. Despite the legal filings, the restaurant has not publicly acknowledged the bankruptcy on social media. As recently as Monday, its Instagram page featured Dean being interviewed by a local news outlet about the eatery and encouraged followers to preorder Thanksgiving meals. The account also shared video footage of him meeting fans at the location over the weekend.

Dean and Bridget, a former entertainment lawyer, have been married since October 2021 and share five children together, including two minors: daughter Zoe, 17, and son Dean Jr., 16. In her filing, Bridget cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, listing their separation date as January 15, 2025. TMZ reported that she is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children as well as spousal support.

Beyond the restaurant, the couple has other joint ventures, including the Norris Performing Arts Center in Murrieta, California, which opened in 2018. The center provides training in dance, vocals, acting, and musical theater for students aged 3 to 18. Page Six attempted to reach out to Dean's representative for comment but did not receive an immediate response.
