Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach continued their Dancing with the Stars routine after the fringe on Karagach’s costume briefly caught on Frech’s prosthetic leg during their samba to “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid. The fringe came loose on its own, and the pair completed the dance.
Frech said after the November 2 Disney Night episode that the pair had rehearsed the samba rolls extensively, but the snag happened during their live performance. He recalled feeling alarmed when his prosthetic got caught. Karagach said she had not noticed it at the time and praised Frech for keeping the routine on track.
The judges, Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, along with guest judge Cynthia Erivo, gave the pair 37 out of 40. Karagach and Frech also earned a perfect score of 40 for their group dance to “We’re All in This Together” from High School Musical.
Frech said he enjoyed rehearsing with the group led by team captain Connor Wood. He added that the choreography was adjusted to accommodate him, and praised the team’s consideration and chemistry.
