Julia Stiles and her professional partner, Ezra Sosa, left Dancing with the Stars after the show’s eighth week, which featured performances inspired by Disney on Broadway musicals.

During the November 2 episode, contestants danced to songs from Disney stage productions. Tony Award winner Heather Headley performed “Easy as Life” from Aida, while Michael James Scott, known for playing Aladdin, sang a song from The Little Mermaid. Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo joined the ballroom as a guest judge, making 40 points the highest possible score for the week.

After the performances and live voting, judges’ scores and viewers’ votes were combined to determine the elimination. Hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough announced that Stiles and Sosa were going home. The remaining couples are set to compete in the ninth week, themed around the Grammy Awards.
