Ezra Frech says he is single and focused on Dancing with the Stars, addressing fan speculation about a possible romance with professional dancer Hailey Bills during a TikTok Live on Nov. 2.
“I’m single,” Frech told hosts Emma Slater and Sharna Burgess. Asked by Burgess whether he was interested in changing that, he replied: “I’m locked in on dancing right now. That’s all I’ll say.”
Slater and Burgess also asked Bills about the rumors during the livestream. When Slater asked how much she wanted to see Frech, Bills replied, “Oh, I would love to see Ezra Frech.” Slater then joked to the camera, “Hey Ezra, Hailey wants to see you.”
Frech’s comments came as he focused on the competition. In the Nov. 2 episode, he performed a team dance with his professional partner, Daniella Karagach, and fellow contestants Connor Wood, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Dewan. The routine included the male performers removing tearaway pants to reveal “DWTS” printed on their underwear.
Frech told E! News after the taping that the group had rehearsed in the pants during camera blocking to prepare for the live performance. He also joked that the dancers had to keep Wood focused, praising him as “one of the most naturally funny human beings” he had ever met.
