Chanel Pysnik is leaving Archewell Productions after nearly six years as Head of Nonfiction, Film & TV. Deadline reported her departure, which Prince Harry and Meghan Markle acknowledged in a statement to the outlet on Tuesday.

The couple described Pysnik as one of their earliest hires and said she helped shape the strategy for Archewell’s unscripted work. They praised her contribution to the company’s productions and said they supported her as she moves on to a new chapter.

Pysnik worked on Harry’s projects “Polo” and “Heart of Invictus,” as well as the documentary “Cookie Queens.” In a statement to Deadline, she said it had been an honor to build Archewell Productions alongside the couple and expressed pride in the work produced during her tenure.

Harry and Meghan launched Archewell Productions in 2020 after stepping back from their roles as senior working members of the royal family. The company has made projects for Netflix. Page Six previously reported that Archewell had reduced staff, while clarifying that the cuts affected production crews hired for projects such as “With Love, Meghan” and “Harry & Meghan,” rather than the company’s full-time employees.
