Bridesmaids, the popular 2011 comedy directed by Paul Feig and written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, was released on Netflix this weekend. The film’s new streaming home is expected to introduce it to another audience.

The movie follows Annie, whose life is struggling as she takes on the role of maid of honor after learning that her longtime best friend, Lillian, is engaged. Despite being broke and lovelorn, Annie attempts to navigate the costly and unusual wedding traditions while trying to make the celebration perfect.

Wiig also stars in the film alongside Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy and Ellie Kemper. The group reunited onstage earlier this year at the 2026 Oscars. Other cast members include Rebel Wilson, Jon Hamm, Terry Crews, Chris O’Dowd, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jillian Bell, Ben Falcone and Matt Lucas.

Bridesmaids earned $290 million at the box office, although Wiig initially believed the movie had failed. More than 15 years after its release, several cast members have continued building successful Hollywood careers and substantial estimated fortunes.

Interest in the cast’s finances also follows comments Wilson made in 2025, when she hinted at behind-the-scenes drama that appeared to involve money and may have affected the possibility of a sequel.

The ranking focuses on estimated net worths for the best-known celebrities who appeared in the film. According to the report, the wealthiest cast member is worth nearly $100 million—approximately twice the estimated fortune of the person in second place.
