Kyle Cooke has responded to recent online tensions after posting a since-deleted comment accusing former Summer House co-star West Wilson of destroying the life and career of Amanda Batula. On Thursday, October 29, the 43-year-old took to his Instagram Story to address the situation, clarifying his stance while expressing a desire to stop adding to the negativity circulating online.

In his statement, Cooke acknowledged that while he cares deeply for Amanda and fights hard for those close to him, he admitted that his emotions sometimes got the better of him during this frustrating period. He insisted that despite his aggressive tone, his concerns regarding the situation remain valid. Cooke noted that he initially hoped both he and Wilson could share their perspectives on the show, but ultimately recognized that Amanda makes her own life decisions just as he does.

The controversy escalated after West Wilson, 31, shared a photo of himself and his girlfriend, Amanda, attending a Kansas City Chiefs football game on Wednesday, October 28. The following day, Cooke commented on the post, calling Wilson a "coke head" who had blown up his ex-wife's life and career. Although Cooke later deleted the remark, a screenshot was circulated by a fan account, prompting an unusual response from the official social media account of his alcoholic beverage business, Loverboy. The brand used the moment to promote new merchandise rather than address the personal dispute.

Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their romance in March, shortly after Amanda ended her four-year marriage to Cooke in January. Their relationship faced significant backlash from the Summer House cast, partly because Wilson had previously dated Amanda's best friend and co-star Ciara Miller in 2023. As a result of the controversy surrounding their union, neither Wilson nor Batula will return for the upcoming 11th season of Summer House. It remains unclear whether Amanda will appear in the second season of the In the City spinoff.
