Mariah Carey marked the start of the holiday season at a Gucci cocktail party in New York City on Monday, November 2, celebrating the brand’s new holiday campaign featuring the singer.
Carey stars in a campaign film captured by Harmony Korine and set to her holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” At the event, an a cappella choir performed the song along with a selection of her greatest hits.
The party comes as Carey’s seasonal single continues its chart run. It previously spent 22 non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 between 2019 and 2025. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” surpassed that total this year, reaching 26 weeks at the top and counting. Carey added four No. 1 weeks during last year’s holiday season.
