Mariah Carey is welcoming the holiday season as the star of Gucci’s new Christmas campaign, a short film directed by “Spring Breakers” filmmaker Harmony Korine.
The film follows hotel staff as they prepare a festive celebration for Carey, who is 57 in the campaign. She arrives in Gucci’s logo stiletto boots, priced at $2,300, and a fur coat from the brand’s forthcoming Cruise 2027 collection. Across two looks, her wardrobe is valued at more than $50,000.
The hotel staff decorate the venue, carry presents and prepare the Christmas tree before Carey arrives. Guests add gifts beneath the branches and light candles as the party takes shape.
Carey later appears in a champagne-colored asymmetrical dress covered in crystals. The gown is priced at $19,500 and forms the centerpiece of her second look.
The campaign also features Gucci’s new Butterfly special collection, whose wing-inspired print reflects a motif closely associated with Carey. The singer named her 1997 album “Butterfly” and has incorporated the imagery into her style, including through a Van Cleef & Arpels ring.
After greeting the Gucci-clad guests, Carey looks into the camera and delivers the campaign’s closing line: “All I want for Christmas is you.”
The collaboration follows Carey’s ongoing association with Gucci since Demna’s first collection for the house in September 2025. In December last year, she wore a $48,000 tiger-print shearling coat and $5,000 GG crystal-embroidered leggings in Aspen.
The campaign arrives as Carey’s annual Christmas season gets underway. She released her yearly “It’s Time” video on Nov. 1, while her Christmas tour is scheduled to travel to Brazil and England before concluding in Malta on Dec. 8.
