Kelly Stafford has questioned the NFL’s schedule for the Los Angeles Rams, saying the team does not have a “true bye week” during the 2026 season. She raised the issue in an Instagram Story on Nov. 3, noting that even after 18 years around the league, she feels worn out watching from the stands.

“Can’t imagine how the guys feel,” she wrote, referring to the players. Kelly is a registered nurse and shares four daughters with Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford: 9-year-old twins Sawyer and Chandler, Hunter, 8, and Tyler, 6.

The Rams and the Green Bay Packers are scheduled to meet on Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving. Both teams will return to action after 10 days, while the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, who have bye weeks around the same time, will have 14 days off.

The NFL’s scheduling process takes into account factors including cross-country games, stadium conflicts and other operational constraints. The league’s operations website says its scheduling teams balance those considerations while aiming to create an appealing slate for fans and broadcast partners.

E! News reported that it had contacted the NFL for comment but had not received a response. Despite her criticism of the schedule, Kelly has also spoken warmly about her husband, whom she married in 2015, describing him in a 2022 interview as patient and a positive example of a partner.
