Kelly Clarkson has reflected on the seven-year run of The Kelly Clarkson Show after the program collected five awards at the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards. The show’s final episode aired in September, two months before its crew attended the ceremony on Oct. 30.
The series received 11 nominations and won Outstanding Daytime Talk Series among its five awards. Clarkson congratulated the winners in an Instagram post featuring members of the production team with their awards, describing the show’s run as “incredible.”
Clarkson said ending the show was not an easy decision. She thanked fans who had supported it since its 2019 premiere and praised NBC as a supportive partner.
She also said that putting her children, daughter River, 12, and son Remington, 10, first felt necessary and right for the family’s next chapter. Their father, Brandon Blackstock, died of cancer in August 2025.
