KATSEYE apologized to fans after postponing its Nov. 3 concert at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena about 30 minutes before the group was scheduled to take the stage. The group said the change was due to illness and that member Megan Skiendiel was unable to perform.
In a statement shared on Instagram Stories, KATSEYE said it wanted to give Skiendiel time to rest and recover. The group also acknowledged that fans had travelled and made plans for the show, and said it was disappointed not to see them.
The venue asked ticket holders to keep their tickets, which will be valid when a new date is announced. Reactions on social media were mixed: some fans expressed frustration and sadness, while others defended the group and emphasized that its members should be able to prioritize their health.
KATSEYE has been performing without two members since August. The group recently confirmed that Sophia Laforteza is expected to return in January; Manon Bannerman has not confirmed when she will return. At the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 18, Lara Raj said the group was happy for Laforteza and respected her decision to take time for her health.
