Hallmark Channel’s 2026 Countdown to Christmas reached 12 million unique viewers during its first 10 days, from October 16 to 25, according to Forbes. Six new films premiered during that period, including Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story, the third movie made in partnership with the NFL.
Forgotten Holiday, starring Janel Parrish and Daniel Lissing, was the most-watched of the six films. Its October 24 premiere attracted 1.5 million live viewers; that figure does not include delayed viewing or Hallmark+ streaming.
The early-season audience represents more than 30% of the 38 million unique viewers reached across Hallmark’s 70-day Countdown to Christmas programming in 2025. The 2026 season is set to feature 34 new movies, 10 more than last year.
Upcoming titles include Lacey Chabert’s Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True on November 28, Hunter King’s Hanukkah movie Eight Nights for Love on November 29, Holland Roden’s A Grand Biltmore Christmas on December 5, and Jonathan Bennett’s Save the Date for Christmas on December 20.
