Blake Lively made a rare public appearance at Majorelle on New York’s Upper East Side, attending an event celebrating her friend and jeweler Brent Neale and his latest holiday collection. She wore a navy sequined Chanel minidress from the house’s fall/winter 1994 collection, designed by Karl Lagerfeld and originally modeled by Christy Turlington.
The strapless dress featured black satin bows. Lively’s look omitted a lace ruffle and camellia brooch that were part of the original ensemble. The dress is listed for resale on 1stDibs for $10,300. Lily-Rose Depp wore the complete set to the 2023 Cannes premiere of “The Idol.”
Lively paired the dress with diamond-covered bow earrings by Neale, priced at $38,850, clear PVC Christian Louboutin heels with black toe caps and ankle straps, and a black Chanel bag listed at $6,400.
The appearance follows a period in which Lively has been less visible in public. She attended the World Cup in July and appeared at the Met Gala in May, hours after settling her court case with Justin Baldoni. At the gala, she carried a jeweled bag featuring artwork by her children.
