Whitney Way Thore has two destinations in mind for her wedding to fiancé Jake Beaudoin: Banff, Canada, or Iceland. The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star shared the ideas in an interview with E! News, saying she has been thinking about wedding plans even while Beaudoin has told people they had not started planning yet.
Thore, 42, said the prospect of an outdoor wedding in a cold place has long made her nervous because she considers herself hot-natured. She has not visited Banff, but the Canadian Rockies resort town remains one of her preferred settings. Beaudoin, she said, has been easygoing about her ideas, and she has so far faced no resistance.
Although she is excited by the idea of a striking location, Thore said what matters most is making the partnership official. She also spoke about taking time to trust the relationship after Beaudoin ghosted her following a few dates in 2018. She said she initially worried that the same thing could happen again, but has been pleasantly surprised by his support.
Thore has also discussed her long-held wish to become a mother with Beaudoin. She said she was nervous to tell him, expecting he might leave, but described him as supportive and excited about the prospect. She added that his love of being a father stood out to her when they first met.
