As lawmakers headed back to their home states for the midterms, Charlie and Jacob were in Washington, D.C., where Charlie approached a rabbit eating grass outside the West Wing for an Election Day interview.
Asked what might happen that night, the rabbit offered no answer and continued eating. It barely reacted as Charlie came close, prompting him to call the encounter the “shot of the night.”
