Marcel Johnson, a TikTok creator who documented his battle with stage IV stomach cancer on social media, has died at 32. His wife, Taylor, said he passed away on November 2 at 4:45 p.m. and announced his death on Instagram the following day.

Taylor wrote that Johnson had endured a long fight and was exhausted and in pain. She said his final words that day were, “I’m ready to go,” and that he continued to hold on for several more hours. She also shared photographs of the couple, including pictures with their five children, and described her loss as life-changing.

A GoFundMe originally set up to support Johnson during his treatment is now raising money for Taylor and their children. The fundraiser’s page said Johnson had faced a difficult battle with stage IV stomach cancer and was at peace. More than $370,000 had been raised at the time of publication.

Johnson was diagnosed in August 2025 and shared updates about his illness with more than 200,000 Instagram followers. He underwent 25 rounds of chemotherapy before stopping treatment in September because he was too weak to continue. He also said hospice had contacted him and that he hoped to travel to City of Hope Medical Center in California if he was well enough.

The following month, Johnson and Taylor posted a video of themselves flying to the medical center. Days later, Johnson said he was returning home and had received answers he needed.
