Marcel Johnson, a TikTok creator who documented his experience with stomach cancer on social media, has died at 32. His wife, Taylor, confirmed his death in an Instagram post on Nov. 3, saying he died on Nov. 2 at 4:45 p.m. He had been diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer just over a year earlier.

Taylor shared photos of the couple and described how difficult the final day had been. She said Johnson told her that morning, “I’m ready to go,” but continued fighting through the day, giving the family more time together. The couple had five sons.

Johnson announced his diagnosis in August 2025 and regularly posted about his medical care and life with cancer. In September, he said he had completed 25 rounds of chemotherapy but was too weak to continue treatment. He also said hospice had been contacting him and that he hoped to travel to City of Hope Medical Center in California if he was strong enough.

On Oct. 14, Johnson posted a video showing him flying to the medical center. Ten days later, he shared a video of himself leaving the hospital in a wheelchair, saying he had received answers he needed. Taylor said on Nov. 2 that he had decided to transfer to hospice.

A GoFundMe page established for the family said Johnson had outlasted the expectations doctors had given him, but was ultimately at peace and ready to be free of pain.
