Sombr chipped a tooth during his concert at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Tuesday, November 3. The accident happened during a stop on his You Are the Reason Tour when he accidentally hit his tooth with a water bottle as he tried to take a drink, People reported.
The 21-year-old singer, whose full name is Shane Michael Boose, paused to tell the audience what had happened. He borrowed a fan’s phone to check his tooth using the camera, then joked about the mishap, saying, “Make some noise for me. I’m really tough. Rock star,” according to People.
Sombr also quipped that he was speaking with a lisp and revived the nickname “Thombr,” which he had used after a previous chipped-tooth incident. He continued the concert and showed his tooth to the cameras during the rest of the performance.
The singer has described other tooth-related accidents on stage. At a November 2025 show at Brooklyn Steel in New York City, he said he had chipped a tooth for the third time. He has also recounted striking a tooth with his microphone after jumping from a ledge during a Los Angeles performance, and shared a video in March 2025 showing a tooth falling out while he performed “Back to Friends.”
Sombr is touring in support of his debut album, “I Barely Know Her,” released in August 2025. The tour was scheduled to continue in Chicago on Wednesday, November 4, with further North American dates to follow.
