Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected release date has been moved up to February 6, 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The date replaces March 2, 2028, which had been listed as his projected release date last month.

Combs’ release date has changed several times in recent months, with previous projections including January 21, February 5 and February 20. He is currently held at FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania after being transferred from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

While at Fort Dix, Combs was reportedly placed in solitary confinement over alleged rule violations involving fights and the use of unauthorized cellphones. NBC News also reported that he received preferential treatment there, including having other inmates provide massages, prepare meals and complete chores in exchange for payment.

A jury found Combs guilty in 2025 on two counts under the Mann Act, involving the transportation of people across state lines for prostitution. He was acquitted of the more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. A judge sentenced him to 50 months in federal prison on the convictions.
