Savannah Chrisley and her husband, Jason Galanis, are expecting a boy. Chrisley shared the news on Instagram on Nov. 2 in a video showing her cutting into a cake with blue icing inside.
“My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more,” she wrote, adding that recent days had reminded her how cruel the world can be, but that no amount of hate could overshadow the joy of loving her child. She said she and Galanis would spend their lives protecting, praying for and loving their son.
Chrisley first announced her pregnancy in an Instagram post on Oct. 27. In that message, she praised Galanis for supporting her and said they were having a baby. She also described his attentiveness during her pregnancy, noting that he had not missed a doctor’s appointment and regularly cared for her.
Chrisley later confirmed that she and Galanis, 56, married privately in the Cayman Islands in July. Speaking on the Nov. 1 premiere of Golden Tate’s YouTube series The Golden Ticket, she said they had not filed the marriage locally, and that they still planned a larger wedding celebration in May.
The Unlocked podcast host has described the baby as a gift and said becoming a mother gives her the chance to raise a child with the values she believes in.
