Sahara Ray’s death certificate reportedly provides further details about the model’s death and arrangements for her remains. TMZ reported on November 3 that the document lists Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as the place where Ray died, aged 34, on October 18. Her cause of death is deferred.
According to the certificate, Ray’s remains are scheduled to be cremated on November 10. Her mother’s home in Los Angeles is listed as the place of final disposition.
Ray’s family announced her death in a statement to TMZ on October 19, saying she had died the previous night at a hospital surrounded by family and was deeply loved.
The Australian-born model, daughter of professional surfer Tony Ray, grew up in California and built a following through modeling and social media. She also launched the swimwear brand Sahara Ray Swim.
In 2024, Ray said she had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome and described being unable to walk because of paralysis from her upper thighs down to her feet. She later said her condition had improved. In August 2025, she announced that she was expecting her first child; she welcomed a daughter, Snow, in January.
Ray’s sister, Ruby, shared a tribute after her death, remembering her as a loving, bright and empathetic person and writing about the pain of losing her older sister.
