The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas marked Halloween alongside her estranged husband, Shawn Trujillo, and their 15-year-old daughter, Elektra. The trio wore matching costumes inspired by the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe, including drummer Tommy Lee.
“My Crüe,” Angie, 52, wrote in the caption of an Instagram post shared on Saturday, October 31. Trujillo, 53, appeared alongside Angie and their daughter as the family presented a united front during the holiday.
The celebration came nearly four months after news of Angie and Shawn’s separation broke in July. The couple had been married for nearly 30 years.
While promoting RHOSLC season 7 in September, Angie told Us that she had become more open about what she was experiencing. She said that being honest could be difficult while she focused on supporting her daughter.
Angie described herself as being in “self-preservation mode” and said her main priority was making sure Elektra knew she was present for her. She explained that the two spent much of the summer together, including attending the teenager’s horse lessons, Pilates, swimming and other activities.
The reality star called motherhood the “most important role” in her life. She also said that, despite the changes in her personal life, she considered herself, her daughter and Shawn a very close family and wanted Elektra to feel safe and supported.
