Jen Affleck, known for her role on the reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, has filed for divorce from her husband Zac Affleck. According to Utah court records obtained by E! News, the legal documents were submitted on November 3, marking the end of a seven-year marriage and an eight-year relationship between the couple.

The announcement comes as Jen is expecting her fourth child, having announced the pregnancy in June. She is already a mother to Nora, 4; Luca, 3; and Penelope, 15 months. The couple's marital struggles have been documented over recent years on both Mormon Wives and its spinoff, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, which followed their move to Southern California in preparation for the new arrival.

In an August interview with People magazine, Jen acknowledged significant stress during the preceding months but expressed hope that she was seeing "the light at the end of the tunnel." At that time, she admitted there were many challenges being navigated behind closed doors without explicitly mentioning a separation. She revealed struggling with prenatal depression during a difficult first trimester, noting that Zac had to step up significantly to support the family.

Jen stated that while Zac "didn't really have a choice" in supporting her, she would not have survived that period without him. The couple met in 2018 and married the following year. Jen has previously addressed rumors of a breakup, attributing public speculation to the exhausting nature of having their relationship scrutinized on social media and television.

In November 2025, Jen told E! News that it is draining to constantly hear negative opinions about their relationship, particularly when observers do not see the effort Zac puts in behind closed doors. She emphasized the difficulty of managing public scrutiny and negative comments online, noting that she tries to focus on being the best version of herself despite the subconscious impact of such noise. E! News has reached out to Jen's representative for comment but has not yet received a response.
