A police report obtained by Page Six says officers found three firearms and multiple bullets inside Erin Benavides’ home in Port Aransas, Texas. Benavides died by suicide on October 14, according to the report cited in the original account.

Authorities received a call at about 7:08 p.m. from someone reporting that a woman had threatened to take her own life. Officers went to the home, forced their way inside and found Benavides with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police do not suspect foul play, but the investigation is ongoing.

Benavides drew public attention in 2010 after being accused of having an affair with Tony Parker, who was married to Eva Longoria at the time. Benavides was then married to Brent Barry, Parker’s former San Antonio Spurs teammate. She denied having an affair, and Parker reportedly denied any physical contact. Longoria filed for divorce from Parker in November 2010; Benavides and Barry also separated around that time.

Benavides later worked as a Texas prosecutor, handling human-smuggling cases and advocating for vulnerable children. She resigned in August, two months before her death.
