Olivia Rodrigo is entering the holiday season with “take me home (4 christmas),” her first original Christmas single. The 23-year-old singer announced the release on Monday, November 2.

The song will arrive on Thursday, November 5, at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. PT, alongside an official music video starring Rodrigo with Cynthia Nixon, known for Sex and the City and And Just Like That, and Saturday Night Live comedian Ben Marshall.

Rodrigo co-wrote the track with her longtime collaborator Dan Nigro and songwriter Amy Allen. Nigro also produced the song.

Fans can currently pre-order physical editions through Rodrigo’s official store, including a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl and cassette. The vinyl is scheduled to be available at Target stores beginning Friday, November 6.

Although Rodrigo has performed holiday music before, “take me home (4 christmas)” marks her first original Christmas release. The song follows her October collaboration with Chappell Roan on a remix of “expectations.”

The release comes as Rodrigo continues her The Unraveled Tour in support of her third studio album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. The tour is scheduled to continue through the rest of 2026 and into 2027, with performances planned in Los Angeles and New York City.
