Netflix has made a series of renewal and cancellation decisions in 2026, with the streaming service bringing back several of its successful television shows while canceling others. The overview also notes that some programs may have been dropped without a formal announcement, a practice commonly described as a “quiet cancellation.”

Among the latest renewals is Haunted Hotel, which was picked up for a third season on October 30. The new episodes are expected to premiere sometime in 2027, while previous seasons remain available to stream.

The Diplomat was renewed for a fifth season on October 29. Its fourth season premiered only a few weeks earlier and was quickly followed by the decision to order more episodes. The first four seasons are currently available on Netflix.

The Hunting Wives also received a third-season renewal, announced on October 7. Its second season is scheduled to debut on November 26, 2026.

Rebecca Cutter, the series’ writer, executive producer and showrunner, said she was excited to return to Maple Brook and promised that the third season would be even more scandalous and twisted after viewers finish the second season.

The 2026 overview also states that Netflix has canceled 13 television shows and announced that six others are ending, although the available information does not identify those productions.
