Milo Ventimiglia says he would be open to appearing on Tracker, the series starring his former This Is Us co-star Justin Hartley, provided the opportunity came at the right time. Ventimiglia discussed the possibility while promoting his Netflix movie A Dog’s Perfect Christmas.
“I would. It would depend on it being the right time,” Ventimiglia told Us. He added that he would enjoy working with Hartley again, describing him as “the best dude on the planet” and saying they had a great time together on This Is Us.
Tracker executive producer Elwood Reid has also said the team has discussed possible appearances by This Is Us actors, including Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown and Mandy Moore. Reid said a cameo would need to serve a strong emotional or entertaining storyline, and noted that coordinating schedules can be difficult.
Ventimiglia played Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls and later starred in Heroes and This Is Us, which earned him three Emmy nominations for lead actor in a drama series. His recent work includes the Netflix film A Dog’s Perfect Christmas, which begins streaming November 4.
