Mika Abdalla has joined the cast of Seeker, an upcoming mystery-thriller directed by Adam Rehmeier. She will star opposite Cooper Tomlinson, known for Obsession, in her first movie role since her success with the Prime Video series Off Campus, where she plays Allie Hayes.
The film follows Grant, played by Tomlinson, whose fiancée Caroline, portrayed by Abdalla, disappeared without explanation five years earlier. Now working as a ride-share driver, Grant picks up a passenger he believes is connected to her disappearance. Their encounter sets off a tense pursuit that takes a stranger and more disturbing turn.
Jessica Rothe, known for the Happy Death Day films, is also part of the cast. The production is still casting the roles of Steve and Kate, and filming is scheduled to take place in Washington State in January 2027.
Rehmeier previously worked with Abdalla on Snack Shack. He said Michael’s script drew him in with its mix of dark, funny and frightening elements, and added that he was excited to work with his collaborators and the film’s producers at Hammerstone Studios, HyperObject Industries and Arkhum Productions.
