Melissa Rycroft has been arrested on suspicion of a second driving while intoxicated offense, two months after pleading guilty to a 2025 DWI charge.
According to legal documents obtained by Us on Sunday, November 1, the Tarrant County Corrections Centre in Texas was holding the 43-year-old reality television personality on three charges issued that day: driving while intoxicated, driving with an invalid license and collision involving damage to a vehicle under $200. TMZ first reported the arrest.
Bond for the three charges totaled $9,000.
Rycroft previously pleaded guilty to the 2025 DWI under an agreement that allowed her to avoid jail time. She was sentenced in August to 20 months of probation instead of 280 days in jail and ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.
The earlier sentence also required Rycroft to complete 36 hours of community service within 120 days and attend a DWI education program. She was prohibited from driving without a camera-equipped ignition interlock device.
Under the plea agreement, Rycroft also agreed to substance-abuse screening, including court-directed urine testing, and to abstain from illegal drugs, marijuana, cannabinoids and alcohol. She was required to check in monthly with Texas’ Community Supervision and Corrections Department, permit supervision visits and provide proof of employment.
Rycroft rose to fame on the 13th season of The Bachelor and previously worked as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. She has been married to Tye Strickland since December 2009, and they share three children.
She has continued to share family updates on Instagram, including a back-to-school post in August and photos from a Studio 54-themed party on October 26.
