Mckenna Grace and Joseph Zada have responded to fans who imagine them as a couple in real life. The actors are co-starring as Maysilee Donner and Haymitch Abernathy in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, which is due in theaters on November 20.
Asked in an interview with Refinery29 Australia whether the speculation felt strange, both actors laughed. “Yeah, it’s pretty weird,” Zada said, adding that they both have partners.
Grace said Zada is “like family” to her. She added that she sees the fun of online fan speculation, provided it does not intrude on people’s personal lives.
