Luann de Lesseps says she does not see Bethenny Frankel often, but the former Real Housewives of New York City co-stars will always have their shared history on the show. De Lesseps gave the update during an interview with E!’s Hot Goss: The Golden Life Edition, more than eight years after they last appeared together on screen.
Asked about their relationship, de Lesseps said she and Frankel would always share “the history of Housewives,” adding that she does not see her former co-star very often. She offered a similarly brief response during a Nov. 3 episode of The Golden Life, saying she was “good with that” when asked about their friendship.
De Lesseps also spoke about being open about her life on the reality series, including reflecting on lessons from her 2017 arrest. “I’m honest about my life and I share my experience,” she told E!, saying she hopes her story inspires others to live their truth.
The 61-year-old also addressed comments on The Golden Life about her boyfriend of three years, Michael Riemerschmid. She said he was separated when they met and has since divorced, adding that he is no longer married. De Lesseps suggested Sonja Morgan’s criticism reflected a tendency to “live in the past.”
