Jamie Lyn Rin has shared more about her grief following the death of her boyfriend, influencer Liam Fitzgerald, who died at 29 after a motorcycle crash. In an Instagram tribute posted Monday, November 2, Rin described learning from a trauma surgeon that Fitzgerald had not survived as the most painful moment of her life, adding that his death still did not feel real.

Rin said Fitzgerald sustained severe injuries in a crash on October 30 at approximately 2 a.m. She announced his death the following day. Few other details about the crash had been publicly disclosed at the time of publication.

“Having to say goodbye to you was absolutely gut-wrenching,” Rin wrote, describing Fitzgerald as the love of her life and someone she believed they had much more time together. She remembered the highs and lows of their relationship and said he worked to grow and make things right.

The couple had hoped to leave Miami, move somewhere quieter and buy a farm. Rin said there had been adventures and memories ahead of them, and that she would continue to love and miss him.

Fitzgerald’s family also paid tribute to him, recalling his work ethic, empathy and enthusiasm for making videos. They said he had struggled with alcohol at times and encouraged people facing similar difficulties to seek support from loved ones and ask for help.

Fitzgerald had more than 1 million Instagram followers. He also offered fitness and social media coaching alongside his OnlyFans content.
