Lenny Kravitz has addressed online rumors claiming he was aboard the Learjet that crashed in Florida while traveling toward the Bahamas with nine passengers.

The speculation spread on X after users resurfaced a deleted Facebook post from Florida-based pilot Emily Shelton. In the post, Shelton said she was scheduled to fly Kravitz from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to North Eleuthera Airport in the Bahamas and planned to play his song “It Ain’t Over ’Til It’s Over” during the flight.

Some fans incorrectly assumed that Shelton and Kravitz had been on the aircraft involved in the crash. Shelton later rejected those claims in a TikTok post, saying she was not the pilot of the aircraft and asking people to stop spreading misinformation about the tragedy.

Shelton had also attracted attention in August after making an emergency landing on Interstate 10. However, The Post later identified the pilot of the crashed plane as 20-year-old Nathalia Gadelha, who obtained her pilot’s license while still in high school.

The aircraft had departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas before making a sharp right turn and plunging from an altitude of 8,000 feet.
