Lauren Conrad’s reputation for stylish, do-it-yourself creations extends to her Halloween costumes. Over the years, the “The Hills” alum has put together a range of memorable looks, including a Paddington Bear costume.
Conrad has been making her own Halloween outfits since childhood. In an Instagram post from October 2019, she recalled creating her first costume at age 11 by cutting two holes in an old bedsheet to dress as a ghost. She later revisited the idea with a revamped tulle version.
Choosing a costume is not always easy for Conrad. In an October 2014 interview with Us Weekly, she said she felt pressure to select a single look for the holiday and described the decision as particularly difficult.
Her enthusiasm for Halloween is not shared by her husband, William Tell. Conrad said in October 2016 that he typically takes the night off, allowing her to use the occasion as an excuse for a girls’ night out.
