La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony have reportedly reached a settlement in their divorce, more than five years after La La filed to end their marriage. The former couple informed the court of the agreement this week, according to court records cited by TMZ. Details of the settlement have not been made public, and a judge has yet to approve it.
La La, an actress and TV personality, and Carmelo, a retired NBA player, first met in 2003 and became engaged the following year. They welcomed their son, Kiyan, in 2007 and married in 2010. Their wedding was featured on the reality series “La La’s Full Court Wedding.”
The couple first separated in 2017, then tried to work through their relationship. La La filed for divorce in June 2021, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, they said they intended to make the transition private and smooth for Kiyan and to remain aligned as co-parents.
