Kraft is adding two limited-edition flavors to its mac and cheese range: Cinnamon Roll and Chili Crisp. The brand announced the products on Instagram on November 2, saying they were available for a limited time.
The Chili Crisp flavor followed Kraft’s jalapeño release in 2024, but the Cinnamon Roll option attracted particular attention. Some social media users questioned the pairing of a sweet flavor with mac and cheese, with one comparing the announcement to an April Fools’ joke and others calling the idea outlandish.
Not everyone was put off. Some fans said they would try the new flavor, pointing to Kraft’s apple pie mac and cheese as an earlier unusual offering that they enjoyed. Others argued that sweet and cheesy dishes are not unprecedented, citing foods such as cheesecake and noodle kugel.
The announcement prompted a range of reactions, from skepticism to curiosity, as the limited-time flavors joined Kraft’s lineup.
