Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw reunited on the red carpet Monday, November 2, for the London premiere of the second season of Netflix’s spy thriller Black Doves. The event was held at IET London’s Johnston Roof Terrace and Riverside Room.
Returning cast members Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Buchan and Ella Lily Hyland also attended. Season two newcomers at the premiere included Neve Campbell, Ambika Mod, Sam Riley, Babou Ceesay and Gabrielle Creevy.
In the new season, Knightley’s character, Helen, continues passing national secrets to the Black Doves while her husband, Wallace, played by Buchan, prepares to become prime minister. Lancashire’s Mrs. Reed faces a plot to weaken her standing in the organization, while Helen reconnects with her friend Sam, played by Whishaw. Their search for answers puts loyalties and relationships under pressure.
Black Doves season two is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on November 5.
