Justin Timberlake is set to revisit two high-profile episodes from his past in a four-part docuseries for Apple TV, according to Variety. The series is expected to arrive in December.
Janet Jackson will reportedly discuss the pair’s 2004 Super Bowl halftime performance, during which Timberlake exposed her breast in an incident widely referred to as a “wardrobe malfunction.”
The series is also expected to address recent comments from Britney Spears. In her 2023 memoir, Spears wrote that she became pregnant with Timberlake’s child and had an abortion. The two dated from 1999 to 2002, and their breakup drew considerable public attention.
Timberlake apologized publicly to both Jackson and Spears in 2021, saying he had benefited from a system that tolerated misogyny and racism. Representatives for Timberlake, Jackson and Apple had not responded to requests for comment at the time of the report.
