Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell was taken to a local hospital after suffering a neck injury during the team’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on November 1.
The 26-year-old All-Pro was involved in a tackle of Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson and was later seen lying face down on the field. Video footage appeared to show that Campbell was not moving his legs at the time.
Medical staff quickly attended to him and immobilized him before he was taken off the field on a cart.
After the game, the Lions’ public relations staff confirmed that Campbell was being transported to a local hospital for evaluation of a neck injury. No further update on his condition was provided in the available information.
