Hila Klein has filed for divorce from Ethan Klein after 14 years of marriage, according to the divorce petition. The documents list their wedding date as October 10, 2012, and their separation date as October 13, 2026.
Hila is seeking joint custody of their three children and spousal support. She has also asked Ethan to cover her legal fees and requested the restoration of her maiden name. The petition was filed by attorney Laura Wasser.
The filing follows Hila’s public statement that the couple had separated and that Ethan had allegedly been having an affair for months. She said he initially played down what happened before admitting to cheating, and described the situation as “a nightmare I can't wake up from.”
After the allegations became public, members of the H3 Podcast team said they would not work with Ethan and expressed support for Hila. Ethan asked for privacy for his family and said he would give up his interests in his podcasts so their proceeds would go to the crew. The H3 Podcast has since been placed on an indefinite hiatus.
