Gigi Hadid celebrated the opening of a new Guest in Residence store in New York City on Friday night, October 30. The model was photographed outside the Madison Avenue location with a cake during the event.
Hadid founded the luxury knitwear and apparel brand in 2022 and serves as its creative director. The Madison Avenue shop is the brand’s second New York location and its fourth storefront overall, alongside stores in Beverly Hills and Malibu, California.
Speaking to Vogue, Hadid said she wanted the new store to feel like “our little residence in New York,” with a welcoming atmosphere where visitors could sit on a couch and talk.
For the opening party, Hadid wore Guest in Residence’s Tartan Wrap Skirt with a brown tank top, leather jacket and knee-high boots. She also carried a potted plant-shaped bag. Although the skirt’s exact color was sold out online, the “Butter Combo” and “Reservoir Combo” versions remained available through the brand’s website.
Inside the party, Hadid changed into the Jane Checker Cardigan. Both pieces are part of the Fall 2026 collection, which also featured Hadid and her sister, Bella Hadid, in its campaign.
