Bryan Seaver is publicly supporting his sister, Rebecca Seaver, after she was reportedly dismissed from a role overseeing Dolly Parton’s archive and museum operations. Rebecca had been responsible for the work at the Life of Many Colors museum inside Parton’s StoryTeller Hotel. TMZ reported her firing on October 30, although further details and official confirmation had not been publicly provided.
In a Facebook post shared October 31, Bryan said he was “very proud” of Rebecca and her efforts. He also described their cousin Danielle Parton as his closest family member and friend, adding that he would continue to support both women. Bryan said there was no feud between them and expressed his love for both relatives.
Bryan was himself dismissed from his position as head of Dolly Parton’s security in September, after announcing the singer’s death. A representative for his security company, SAPS, said at the time that the family remained committed to carrying out Parton’s final directive to protect her relatives.
In a video statement shared on Dolly’s social media accounts, Bryan said he had served as her head of security for more than two decades, following his father Larry in the role. He described her death as a moment of pride and sadness, while honoring her life, family and influence.
Speculation about conflict among the Parton family members followed Dolly Parton’s death and Bryan’s firing. In September, Dolly’s sister Freida Parton denied those reports, saying there was no feud within the family and that no one was fighting over the singer’s estate.
