David Walliams, widely recognized for his role in the BBC series Little Britain, has been removed from an upcoming film project due to ongoing allegations of misconduct. According to a report by TMZ, the 55-year-old actor was previously in negotiations to star in The Road to Nevermore but is no longer attached to the production.

The film's plot centers on two hipsters, Poet Clyde and his roommate Champagne-Socialist Weston, who leave their hometown in search of authenticity and adventure. Other actors confirmed to be part of the project include Gina Gershon, William Baldwin, and Til Schweiger.

This development follows a series of professional setbacks for Walliams related to similar claims. In December 2025, his book publisher HarperCollins dropped him after launching an internal investigation into his alleged behavior toward junior female employees. By September 2026, HarperCollins confirmed it would no longer represent his backlist of books, and his talent agency, YMU, also ceased representing him.

In response to the initial allegations last year, Walliams' spokesperson stated that the comedian was never informed of specific claims raised by HarperCollins nor given an opportunity to respond during any investigation. The representative emphasized that Walliams strongly denies behaving inappropriately and is currently seeking legal advice.
