Dancing with the Stars’ Disney Night airs Monday, November 2, rather than the show’s usual Tuesday slot. ABC says the episode will celebrate “the magic of Disney on Broadway.” Wicked star Cynthia Erivo joins judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough for the show.
The individual performances pair contestants with songs, dance styles and Broadway productions. Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov will dance a quickstep to “A Star Is Born,” linked to Hercules, while Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold will perform a waltz to “I See the Light” from Tangled. Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach have a samba set to “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid.
Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson will dance jazz to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins. Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy are set to perform a quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, and Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa will dance a paso doble to “Satisfied” from Hamilton. Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas will perform a jive to “You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!” from Peter Pan, while Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik will dance contemporary to “Easy as Life” from Aida.
Two team dances are also scheduled. Team Slaytopia, captained by Ali, will dance to “Zoo” from Zootopia 2. Its lineup includes Ballas and Higgins, Pashkov and Glenn, Sosa and Stiles, and Ravnik and Ali, with Alfonso Ribeiro. Team Wildcats, captained by Wood, will perform “We’re All In This Together” from High School Musical. The team includes Arnold and Wood, Karagach and Frech, Chmerkovskiy and Dewan, and Johnson and Shum, with Julianne Hough.
The announced performance order is Glenn and Pashkov; Higgins and Ballas; Ali and Ravnik; Shum Jr. and Johnson; Frech and Karagach; Stiles and Sosa; Dewan and Chmerkovskiy; Wood and Arnold; Team Slaytopia; and Team Wildcats.
