Dafne Keen says she was offered Cocaine at wrap parties when she was as young as 11. The actor shared the experience on the November 3 episode of the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast, explaining that what she witnessed as a child shaped her decision to avoid drinking and drugs.

“I was getting offered coke at wrap parties,” Keen said, recalling being around 11, 12 or 13. She told Rosenbaum she said no. Asked about seeing drinking in the entertainment industry as a child, she confirmed she had seen plenty of it.

Keen, who began acting at nine, said she also made up excuses as a teenager to avoid pressure to drink or take substances. She would claim she had already taken something, she explained, while remaining sober. Keen added that she enjoys going out, dancing and spending time with people without needing alcohol or drugs.

The actor also spoke warmly about Hugh Jackman, her co-star in Logan, saying he looked out for her during filming. Keen said he gave her positive encouragement and made sure her working hours were respected, she was enjoying herself on set and she was not exposed to behind-the-scenes tensions. She described him as a parental figure and praised how protective he was.

Keen played Laura, also known as X-23, opposite Jackman in Logan and returned to the role in Deadpool & Wolverine. Her other credits include His Dark Materials and The Acolyte.
