Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams swapped the hockey rivalry of their Heated Rivalry characters for an alien-inspired Halloween theme. The actors dressed as Michelle Fuller and Teddy Gatz, the characters played by Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons in the 2025 film Bugonia.
Williams portrayed Teddy, a conspiracy theorist who kidnaps Michelle because he believes she is an alien. Storrie dressed as Michelle, whose shaved head in the film became a notable part of the character’s appearance. The costume also appeared to reference the reaction to Storrie’s recent haircut.
During their Halloween celebrations, Storrie and Williams reunited with Heated Rivalry author Rachel Reid. She dressed as Annie Wilkes from Misery and shared a photo with the actors on Instagram Stories, adding the caption: “Don’t ever talk to me or my sons again.”
François Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter, also drew on the series for his Halloween look. Wearing a backwards cap and Kip Grady’s Straw+Berry apron, he imagined how the show might have looked if he had played the character portrayed by Robbie G.K. Arnaud wrote on Instagram Stories: “don’t have @robsgk’s abs so I got the apron.”
